i-volunteer aims to enable people with passion for their community – either as volunteers or by managing the work of volunteers – to connect with, learn from, inspire and support each other in what they are trying to do. Launched on International Volunteer Day in December 2009, this new social network has already been dubbed ‘the Facebook for volunteering’ and is fast becoming a leading source of news and opinion on all things volunteering. i-volunteer is free to use so check it out at www.i-volunteer.org.uk.
