HOW TO BOOK A TEMP
Please read through the Client Contract before completing the Booking Form: we require a signed copy of both.
Please remember the assignment must be for more than 3 hours and less than eight in one continuous shift. After a 6 hour period the temp is required to take a ½ hour unpaid break.

You can complete these forms online, save them and then email them to the JobShop, jobshop@glos.ac.uk or fax them to 01242 714411 or pop them in the internal mail addressed to JobShop Temps, Students’ Union, Park Campus
If you are sending the Booking Form and Client Contract by email and do not have an electronic signature please send the originals in the internal mail.
If the vacancy is urgent we are happy to take bookings over the phone, provided this is followed by receipt of a hard copy of the Booking Form and Client Contract.
We will then contact the temps and offer the vacancy on a first come first served basis.
If you require a particular temp or the work involves anything other than light office duties please let us know at the time of booking.
The temp will arrive for work at the agreed time. You are required to familiarise the temp with the health and safety procedures in the department in which the temp will be working, including evacuation procedures. You are responsible for supplying the temp with personal protective equipment and appropriate training where necessary before commencing work.
When the student has completed the assignment they will ask you to sign their timesheet. Please check the details on the timesheet and take a copy for your records.
After the assignment is complete you will then be sent a feedback form. As this is a pilot scheme feedback is vital to enable us to create the best system possible so please let us know how things have worked for you.
Thank you for using JobShop Temps.
