Abit about the society...

Just look what the SU president said about us ''Dance is one of most improved societies/sports teams across the uni, from starting with 9 members in 2009/2010, within a year the club can now boast 30 members and are looking to break all records by becoming the largest and most successful society within the uni.'
The Dance society is a fairly new group which has only been around for a few years now. We are a relatively small group which allows us to be friendly and very welcoming to any new members! Our size certinly does not reflect the levels of fun we have though! We aim to provide dance accessible to anyone, whether you have been a keen dancer since a young aged, or you have two left feet we would love for you to come along! As our slogan says..'Two left feet?....We'll make it right!' So don't be afraid girls, come along have a go and see if we are for you, we only ask that you have fun with what you are doing!
We must add that the reason we are a society team rather than a sports team is firstly, generally sports teams charge more for memberships and secondly because we’re not a BUC’S team, this means we don’t compete in any of the BUCS fixtures etc.
We whole heartedly believe that this group is one of a kind, and a throughly enjoyable and challenging experience for all and we’re looking forward to get going and improving it with you this year.
